Leucillin, What is it?
Leucillin contains the active ingredient Hypochlorous (HOCl); this is a naturally occurring chemical in the mammalian body produced by white blood cells to fight infection caused by invading pathogens. Hypochlorous is one of the most effective and efficient biocides known to man. Whilst being totally safe, it is 300 times more effective than bleach and is almost instant in its effect, bacteria do not develop immunity to it.

 

What does Leucillin do?
It kills germs; bacterial, viral and fungal instantaneously on contact. Applying Leucillin an antiseptic and a topical skin sanitizer means no surviving germs which create resistance to skin recovery, this demonstrates clean and rapid skin recovery.

 

How safe is Leucillin?
Because Hypochlorous is a natural chemical already existing in the body, animals prone are skin sensitively with other products will not suffer any adverse reactions to Leucillin, it is 100% safe to use on sensitive areas such as, minor cuts and wounds and is harmless if ingested, where domestic pets are likely to lick at applied areas. Competition Safe, Leucillin “tests free” for all competition animals. For equines, Leucillin contains no substances prohibited under the FEI or Jockey Club banned chemicals for competition.

How do I use Leucillin? Leucillin is skin pH neutral, non-toxic, and will not sting; it is 100% safe to use in any application including, ears, eyes and sensitive skin. For optimum strength of solution spray twice to clear nozzle, then apply liberally directly onto the area or saturate cotton wool and apply to more sensitive areas. Leucillin works on the skin so you may need to part the hair and spray till the product runs, allow to dry naturally. Leucillin works on contact however it will need reapplication, it is recommended to apply three times daily, you cannot overdose with Leucillin, it is safe to apply more often as required. To soothe and calm the skin of allergy suffers, liberally spray the affected areas which maybe reddened, inflamed or sore. Leucillin is safe for long term usage or daily as an effective cleanser. Leucillin can safely be used alongside other any oral medication, if applying other products topically according to a protocol from your vet, Leucillin can be used in conjunction. If the skin has an oily residue from other products this must be removed before Leucillin is applied, any oils or creams will inhibit Leucillin from reaching the skin surface where it is most beneficial. Always allow your application of Leucillin to dry first before applying another topical product.
